5. Newsletter Engine using ASPNETEmail
|
|
| ASPFree was first website to run and use the .NET framework. The only part that was still running as classic COM, was my newsletter engine. Untill the aspNetEmail SMTP component came along, I did not have a .NET solution. The aspNetEmail component is a 100% .NET email component completely written C#, and exposes a highly functional MailMerge method. The MailMerge method will accept a dataset of email addresses, and send off an email to each address. Thus, all I needed to do, was to construct the newsletter text. |
